I was afraid, so I kept quiet.
I saw your picture. Tried hard to reach your stare.
I have abandoned any possible dreams...

You were not there. Your eyes were closed,
looking somewhere within yourself.
I saw you from a distance. I kept silent.
I felt numb. I wasn't there...

I thought some day we could believe
it was meant to be.
We were meant to be...
Yet, you're roaming in worlds I have never been to.

I saw you there, somewhere I couldn't be.
Someone else sat right beside you.
I wasn't there. I couldn't be there...
Apart, I am apart, but still in love.

Where are you now? Where can we be together?
Will you ever, ever look at me?
Will you ever share this secret love?
Secret for I don't say a word about it.

We both just feel. Forbidden.
It can't be real. Mistaken.
It is ended before it's begun...
We have no deal. Forgotten...
